The foundation facilitated the felicitation of prominent cyber experts including Vaishali Bhagwat, Apurva Joshi, and Shivangi Nadkarni, recognizing their contributions as “Cyber Warriors.” Dr. Shikarpur said that rapid changes will bring new confusions, new challenges, and new opportunities before the new generation. To embrace them, add diverse skills and work experience to your traditional education. Training is no longer solely the responsibility of the industry; every employee is now expected to be trained. Therefore, step out of the maze of examinations, think about startups, and learn foreign languages. There will continue to be immense opportunities in the cyber field. If you know foreign languages, the world itself can become your workplace, he advised.
Founded by IT expert Deepak Shikarpur, the foundation emphasized the need to integrate foreign languages and interdisciplinary skills into higher education to prepare students for expanding opportunities in cybersecurity. Speakers highlighted the importance of analytical thinking, risk assessment, data analysis, and stepping beyond comfort zones. The event also addressed rising cyber and financial crimes, stressing awareness and responsible digital behavior. Through this initiative, Shikarpur Social Foundation reinforced its commitment to empowering women, promoting cyber awareness, and preparing youth for global opportunities in the evolving digital landscape.
